I was born and raised in Saxony, Germany, which was part of East Germany until unification. It has been decades since leaving East Germany, yet I find myself sitting on two chairs combining and reconciling the differences of my German and American culture, life experiences, heritage, and formed behavior. What hasn’t changed are my core beliefs, ethical standards, and the love to explore science and humanities. Therefore, to seek enlightenment and strength from human beings (Menschen) in all regions and cultures of the world and gaining a greater understanding about my existence and interaction toward and with my fellow-men (Mitmenschen).

My wife, an immigrant from Guatemala, and I have been married for over 30 years and have three wonderful children.

I enjoy traveling and sightseeing places in foreign countries and throughout the USA, nature hiking, unwinding at beautiful beaches, and swimming in lakes with family and friends. I am also passionate about playing, watching, and coaching my favorite sport – real football (soccer), enjoy watching American college football and many other sport events.

Since 2015, I have built my business as independent broker by providing health & life insurance related services and products for my wonderful clients.
